  • Dr. Betsy Rigsbee, PT, DPT

    FOUNDER

Dr. Betsy Rigsbee, a Mercer Island native, became a physical therapist because physical therapy combines her loves for science, helping others and exercise into one career. Betsy received her undergraduate degree in dance and psychology at Barnard College, Columbia University and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy education at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Today Betsy enjoys treating a diverse patient population from a variety of athletic endeavors and hobbies. She has advanced training in orthopedics, manual therapy, reducing fall risk, pelvic pain, osteoporosis and autoimmune disease. Betsy believes in treating the whole patient by implementing evidence-based treatment programs that are based upon an individual’s preferences. When she is not treating patients, Betsy cares for herself by running, kickboxing, and teaching Zumba classes. The two jobs more rewarding than being a physical therapist for Betsy are being a mom and being a true teammate to her husband

  • Dr. Rachel Morin, PT, DPT

    FOUNDER

Dr. Rachel Morin is a Seattle native who received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington. She is also a certified Yoga Instructor with special interests in hypermobility disorders, persistent pain disorders, and performing artists and has advanced training in pelvic health and caring for fitness athletes. Her goal as a physical therapist is first and foremost to keep patients moving and doing what they love: keeping a dancer in class with modifications, helping a runner build back up their rhythm, or helping a teacher get back to her daily walks. Her patients' passions and activities sit front and center. Physical therapy is a collaborative process, not an assignment, and one size does not fit all. Rachel works together with her patients to help them understand their diagnosis and address the demands of their recreation or daily activities so they can get back on track with reduced pain and improved confidence in their abilities, strength, and resilience.
